Red Arch is run by the two of us - Amira and Pete with our cracking team:

• Evee - Bartender

We started Red Arch because we wanted to create a vibe. We can’t name the vibe, but we just know it’s there, people have said so too.

Since then we have added some touches here and there. A candle or two, some extra signage and then came a bookshop. The bookshop currently lives in the snug, which is our little shipping container in the back garden.

In terms of spaces available, we have:

• The main room
• The snug
• The beer garden

So you are really spoilt for choice when you pop in for a drink.

And soon, we'll be offering some delicious food with our brand new food partner. We can't reveal too much yet, but just know its' going to be awesome.

It’s still a work in progress, and that’s kind of the point.

As well as being a neighbourhood bar, events are a big part of what we do. We host our own nights like music, comedy and quiz nights.

But we also work with DJs, musicians, creatives and organisers to bring their events in. Some things are planned months in advance; others come together because someone walks through the door with a good idea. 

That’s one of the things we love about being independent, we can try new things and meet some great people along the way.
